Going camping!

Nga tamariki have recently been role playing "going camping" in our playground. Nga tamariki asked the teachers if they could make a tent and a camp fire to cook their food on. Donna discussed with them what resources and equipment we needed for this. It wasn't long before several of the tamariki were gathering up bits of drift wood, sticks, wood and stones. Some of the tamariki helped Donna make our tent and some cooked the dinner. What an adventure we had and we can't wait to see where our next camping trip will be.
