At BestStart Te Aroha, we believe that whanau connections are at the heart of a child’s learning and growth.
That’s why we were absolutely thrilled to invite our children’s grandparents to join us for a heartwarming afternoon of fun and togetherness during our recent Grandparents Day.
The afternoon was filled with laughter and love as grandparents came to visit their grandchildren in their learning environment. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase their creativity and share their world with the people who mean so much to them.
We kept things casual with orange juice and biscuits for afternoon tea, giving everyone a chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy some quality time together. The highlight of the day was when the children performed a few songs at mat time, filling the room with joy and laughter.
The smiles on the grandparents’ faces said it all! It was a fantastic turnout, and the day was all about strengthening bonds with whanau, creating memories, and celebrating the special relationships that help our children thrive. A big thank you to all the grandparents who joined us and made the day so memorable.
