Growing Sea Animals
Currently as part of our planning the Little Blue's are working on exploring the living world. One of our experiences relating to this was growing sea animals. We put warm water into cups and then put some special capsules into the water. The children observed the changes as the capsules melted and animals grew from the capsules. There was so much excitement at observing the changes. We had fun looking at the back of the packet to try and work out which animal was growing. We had sharks, dolphin, octopuses, marlin and so much more.
