Through gardening, our tamariki learn to care for the environment, growing and sharing produce as a way of giving back to our community. It offers a rich, hands-on learning experience that supports the whole child.
Gardening empowers children to become kaitiaki of their environment. They learn that their actions matter. By caring for the earth, they are contributing to something bigger than themselves. These early experiences lay the foundation for lifelong values of sustainability, respect and responsibility.
