Today was all about Gumboots as we celebrated our very first national Gumboot day. Our Tamariki in the preschool were set with a big task of turning a pair of gumboots from plain looking into dazzling sparkling gumboots for Jennie to wear!!!. First, we gathered up all the glittering, sparkling, shiny materials we could find as well as all the bright colored paint and putting all our creative imaginative ideas together, we worked as a team to create the most amazing original pair of gumboots we had ever seen!!!.
