Celebrating a day full of upbeat Bollywood music and getting covered in colour is something our tamariki and Kaiako always look forward to at BestStart Dey Street. Holi is such a fun celebration where our centre can come together, learn about diverse cultures and have fun getting a bit messy! Leading up to Holi, our tamariki enjoyed dancing to Bollywood music as well as hearing stories about this unique festival of colours. Coming together as a centre is such a great opportunity for tuakana teina (relationships between older children and younger children) to take place.
