Happy Mother's Day from BestStart Bader Street

At BestStart Bader Street, we celebrated Mother's Day by inviting mothers to a special breakfast with delicious coffee. Each room was decorated for Mother's Day with children's contributions to make it more inviting. Nga tamariki participated in the range of activities provided by each room to make special presents for their mothers during that week.

This was a great opportunity for our tamariki to spend some quality time with their special person. It was a nice moment to have professional conversations with the mother figures of our tamariki. Nga Tamariki also contributed to making a selfie frame for the front door where we took pictures of our mums with their beloved children. Children gave wonderful presents to their mums and our preschoolers also gave hidden messages for their mums in their presents. Mothers felt very special as they left wonderful compliments for the team about this event.

These special events at the center are wonderful ways to build relationships between the centre and community, and strengthen the bridge between home and centre. Our fathers and grandparents also joined in for this event as it was all about celebrating that special person in the child's life who contributes towards the child's happiness and wellbeing. This celebration was a fun and important way for children, families, and educators to actively learn about each other and connect families to the center.
