Happy Year of the Ox
Chinese New Year was very special at Beststart Montessori Taradale this year. Our parents all got behind our celebrations and not only came in to help the children make New Year themed crafts such as lanterns and fans, they also helped make a delicious Chinese feast for us to enjoy for lunch. It was lovely to have our beautiful Chinese mummies in the casa each day enjoying our learning alongside us. The children all received lucky envelopes with chocolate money for good luck. We enjoyed doing dragon dancing and making a dragon to ride on...Happy Year of the Ox to you all!!
