Harakeke Room Fun
In our Harakeke room here at BestStart Papatoetoe, our tamariki are active explorers. We ensure that we have all the curriculum areas set up for our children to actively explore. As our children develop curiosity and the willingness to take risks and give things a go. We are right there alongside them ready to nurture, support, provide them with rich language experiences and guide them as they fill their ako or baskets of knowledge with new learning.
Our latest areas of interest have been our sandpit, music corner, play dough, books and blocks. Look at how engaged and excited our tamariki are as we extend on their current interests. These areas also link to being Be School ready as we learn about maths, science, music and literacy.
