We celebrated Holi with the tamariki which is an ancient Hindu festival which signifies the arrival of spring after winter in India. We used the different colours of powder on one another in the morning and then in the afternoon we had water play where even the Kaiako got involved with getting wet and being chased by the children. Putting colour on one another is a way of spreading happiness and love.
