Ideas to celebrate Easter

Easter is almost here, so why not hop to it and  keep the kids busy over the holidays with these fun thing to do?

EGG AND SPOON RACE

Try the good old-fashioned egg and spoon race that dates back to the late 1800s. All you need are eggs (hard-boiled are the least messy) and metal or wooden spoons for each participant. Race individually or relay-style. Ask your kids to hold eggs on spoons and race each other without dropping the egg. Up the fun by arranging an obstacle course in the backyard.

OBSTACLE COURSE WITH HOPPING, JUMPING, THROWING, AND MORE FUN WITH THE HARD BOILED EGGS

Set up a simple obstacle course in the backyard or even the living room and give it a fun Easter theme. Lots of hopping, eggs on spoons, egg throwing and catching, and maybe even some bowling with a hard-boiled egg to knock over the pins.

DECORATE YOUR OWN EGGS (CHICKEN EGGS)

Looking to create some cute Easter-themed animals? Keep it fun, but simple and have your kids finger paint bunnies and chicks directly on your eggs.
