It might have been lockdown due to the covid 19 virus, but BestStart Jones Crescent Kindy still got inventive and took our learners on a imaginary zoo trip. This aligned with our maths component of our current programme as there was a lot of counting involved.

First we had to pretend to hop in the Kindy van and then mum and dad had to show a youtube clip of animal actions we had to do as we went along.  When we were done we had a "mat time where we all had a turn to share our favourite toy - all this during a Zoom chat!

We loved seeing our learners again and was a lovely opportunity to stay connected with our whanau.
