Introducing Te Aniwa at BestStart Herewini Street
Kia Ora Whanau, and a warm welcome to Te Aniwa at BestStart Herewini Street, Rotorua!
Meet Te Aniwa, our Centre Cook at BestStart Herewini Street. Te Aniwa originally hails from Palmerston North but relocated to Rotorua in 2006. Te Aniwa holds a diploma in Culinary Arts which she gained back in 2019. She is passionate about creating delicious nutritional meals for our tamariki, and hopes to one day add a Bachelor of Teaching to her repertoire of skills.
When she is not in the kitchen preparing the day's cuisine, Te Aniwa relishes spending time on the floor supporting, and building relationships with our tamariki. Over the last four weeks, Herewini Street has been transforming our brand new kitchen and dining room. As we are all eager to have this area reopened, Te Aniwa is equally as enthusiastic about getting back into our wharekai and preparing some nutritious and nourishing kai for our tamariki.
We are looking forward to showing you our wonderfully redesigned new space! Here at BestStart Herewini, we work alongside the New Zealand Heart Foundation to ensure that the meals we provide are not only delicious but also give our children the building blocks for health and optimal learning.
