The four year olds in our Prep Room here at BestStart Buchanans Road are currently exploring and learning all about insects/pepeke. The tamariki drive our learning throughout all our rooms here at BestStart Buchanans Road. We follow their interest right from the start and are they are continuing to be so excited and enthusiastic as we learn and create together all about insects.

We have been learning about the life cycle of spiders; creating butterflies, caterpillars, spiders and flies; moving our bodies like a variety of insects; hearing Maori legends of Te Aitanga Pepeke / The Insect World and much, much more.
