Recently, our Rākau ruma tamariki have been diving deep into the world of 'community helpers'. They've been learning all about the amazing people who keep us safe, healthy and happy - from brave lifeguards and firefighters to creative hairdressers!
The learning didn't stop on the page though. Our tamariki got up close and personal with some furry community members when friendly dogs and cars visited us at the centre. We even took our exploration a step further with an exciting trip to the local vet clinic to see how we care for our animals.
These rich, real-world experiences have sparked so much joy and imagination, leading our children to reflect on themselves and dream big about what they want to be when they grow up. Who knows, we might hyst have some future vets and firefighters in our midst!
