It has a very busy week and we have been busy learning a lot of new and wonderful things. We have planted our veggie plants that were given to us from Mitre 10, also we have planted our plants which we grew from our little gardens which some of us got from New World. We also have strawberries and tomatoes growing as well. Now we have to learn how to look after them. We have also started to learn about seeds and plants which carries on from learning about bugs. The children are making green houses at the moment and next week we will put bean seeds in them and put them on the windows and watch them grow... When they have started to grow the children will be able to take them home and plant them in the garden at home.

We have started to use our deck as an extension of our classroom and we have activities out there that the children work with just like in the classroom. Explorers has been out and about this week, collecting books from the library for our classroom and also the eight oldest children today went and visited the Arrowtown Primary School and watched their assembly.
