The children enjoy dramatic play and camping has been a perfect scenario they play out while engaging in cooperative play and even problem solving. This camping pretend play offered the children lots of situations to act out, from traveling to the camp site, pitching the tent, making a campfire to roasting marshmallows, and going fishing for dinner. Kaiako supported the children to put their own ideas into practice and play acting with the children, using language that went with the play.
