Joining in with Welcome Bay School Cross Country
The tamariki participated in the preschool race and were handed a participation certificate once they finished the race. Jaime, the Welcome Bay principle came over to talk with the tamariki once they had finished the race and asked if he could take a photo of the tamariki with their certificate for the Welcome Bay school website. We had a lot of parents eager to support us, so they came along to cheer our little group on for the morning. This moment linked so well with our current planning which is building relationships with our local community and participating in local events.
