June in the cove
The kaiako have loved seeing all the smiling faces return to The Cove after such a long time away. Everyone has settled back in so well and we have been amazed at how much growth, development and new learning our tamariki are showing us.
We have enjoyed a trip to the park and exploring different art and messy play activities. The tamariki have been very engaged in developing their gross motor skills with all the different play equipment in our outside area. The sandpit has also been well used by all, practicing digging, transferring sand from one place to another, filling containers, burying things, and just experiencing the soft dry sand slip through their fingers.
