At BestStart Herewini we are very lucky to have to support of our community.
We are focusing on animals and our local vet (and one of our mums), bought in a calf for us to have a look at.
She also made pretend udders for us to milk into a bucket.
We were shown how to milk our calf, how to have gentle hands with our calf, and how to work together to support each other.
Animals are such an important part of our life, and we are learning all about them as we have fun.
