Welcome back to a new year here at BestStart Springlands. In the nursery we have been very busy exploring the water. Over the month of January we have had quite a few hot days, and there's no better way to cool off than some fun water play. We have had animals , balls, pot, pans and even broom out in the water trough. Creating different opportunities for our children to explore the water with a range of different objects. The children use their senses to explore the sound, sight, feel through the exploration of the water.

On our really hot day all children and teachers enjoyed some cool off time in the sprinkle. We would count down 3..2..1 GO and run through the sprinkler together. This allowed the children the chance to explore the water in a unique way as it fell on their skin.
