Today a group of children and teachers had the opportunity to take part in a Kelly Sports session, Steve and the team were running preparing for the start of Term 2 for their Kelly mini sports sessions for the local community. Kaiako and nga tamariki had an amazing time following instructions around how to kick balls into the goals, skittles and even balance our feet on the balls. This was such a fun and wonderful way to develop hand- eye co-ordination, gross motor skills and muscle development. This also continues to support our heart health and Healthy Heart initiative by discussing how physical activity and movement supports a healthy body and heart.
