Kelvin Grove's Christmas Party
We had another amazing Christmas Party, here at BestStart Kelvin Grove. An evening full of excitement, friends, family and happy smiling faces! The night was a delight; full of dancing, face paint, playdough and card making. Tamariki decorated baubles to add to the most beautifully decorated crafty tree.
We had originally planned to have a picnic in the park, but due to bad weather, we found ourselves all enjoying a picnic indoors at the centre. Celebrating Christmas as one big Kelvin Grove whānau reflects our value of teamwork, kotahitanga where children learn; "I am part of a team with my friend's teachers, and whānau". Tamariki excitedly waited for a turn to chat with Santa and to recieve a special book as a their present this year.
Our vision of "at one with child, whānau and community" is always at the forefront of all that we do and it was heart warming to see our vision in action, sprinkled with a bit of extra special Santa magic!
