Kickstarting the new year
We kick started 2021 with a wonderful holiday programme that was both entertaining and educational for our tamariki.
We had organised fun themed days like Disco day, Opposite Day, Kindness Day, Wheels Day, Wacky Hair day, Water Day, Art Day and Science Day. There were multiple trips to visit the nearby school playground and explore the nature and environment. The whanau were equally involved and thrilled about getting their children ready for the exciting day ahead.
The children were engaged, actively participating, and ultimately having huge amounts of fun along with their teachers and peers. As most of them were only back from their holidays , the experiences offered served to re-establish and strengthen their relationships with friends and teachers.
We used feedback and ideas from the children and parents while planning to make sure they included all the popular favourites as well as new activities to learn and develop their skills.
Water day and movie and chocolate drink day offered us lot of chill out time during the hottest time of the year!
