Leading their learning in the Fantail Room
Through the month of July in BestStart Glasgow's Fantail room the children have been taking the learning into their own hands and have been telling/showing us what they would like to do. This month the books have been a massive interest, whether it be reading in a group, reading by themselves and even reading to their peers.
Alongside books the children have been engaging in social competence, creating and maintaining friendships with games such as peek-a-boo! The children have been developing and extending their knowledge within literacy, engaging alongside peers, taking responsibility, sharing their knowledge and creating reciprocal and responsive relationships within the environment.
