LEAF CRAFTS
LEAF RUBBINGS
Lay the leaves on a table with the veiny side facing up, then put a piece of paper over top of the leaves. Use the side of a crayon to rub over the leaves - the patterns of the leaf veins and edges should show through the paper.
LEAF COLLAGES
Collect different sizes and colours of leaves, then use a glue stick to create colourful collages and pictures on paper.
LEAF PAINTINGS
Using child-safe paint and a paintbrush, paint the veiny side of a leaf and then turn over and press on to paper, carefully lifting up. The delicate patterns of the leaf will be displayed on the paper. You can also try laying a leaf on paper and then painting around its edges in order to make interesting patterns.
