The tamariki in The Children's House have been busy making a poppy wreath for this years ANZAC dawn parade. Last year we were in lockdown and could not attend any services, this year we are teaching the tamariki why we celebrate ANZAC day. We remember those who fought and were lost in the war and to show our support and respect for those who have lost family.

This week we have been reading different ANZAC books to educate our tamariki, some children have been reading them in our library during the day.

We have been listening to "Last Post" and having a moment of silence.

Kaiako and whanau will be gathering together on the 25th of April to attend the dawn service and share this special culture with our aspiring tamariki.
