At the moment our preschool children are studying the great NZ outdoors. They've been looking at all types of different areas of the outdoors, including what animals live there.  Along the way they have discovered that in NZ we have hedgehogs that nest in the forests and in gardens.  They were so interested in this that they wanted to make some.
