Nga Tamariki in Te Aroha have had a wonderful last month with many fun learning experiences.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the local Resthome where our tamariki were able to engage with the elderly residents and truly brightened their day. We enjoyed visiting some big trains on our way back to centre extending on our current planning interest in transport.

We enjoyed a lovely evening with Whanau to celebrate Matariki where we shared Kai and had the chance to share the learning goals of our tamariki with their whanau.

Over the school holidays we have been busy every day with our holiday programme.  Today the children are enjoying being dressed up in blue for “blue day”  we have also been busy collecting the lavender from our garden and adding it to our play dough for a lovely sensory experience.
