Lately the tamariki have shown a strong interest in the arts, being creative and imaginative in many different ways so this week we decided to explore a range of experiences to support and extend on being creative and expressive.

We have had lots of art materials out to create masks, rakau sticks for music, a magnetic duck fishing game which the tamariki loved so we also used it for role play as well! We had lots of dress ups and imaginative pretend play also.

The tamariki have loved sharing their expressive and imaginative side with their nga kaiako and friends. We cannot wait to see where else this interest takes the tamariki and what they come up with next!
