April brings some quality learning experiences from Beckenham’s at home preschool teaching team. Anthea takes us through the simple steps to create puff paint at home. Many of the messy play activities the children experience at preschool can be replicated from home. The 2020 lockdown has highlighted how we can take day to day quality experiences our tamariki will discover within the preschool environment and adapt to home. Over this month Storypark has been buzzing with creativity, familiar songs, stories, exercise games, some requiring equipment and others none at all. Many families have participated and contributed their comments and feedback, including photos of their children joining in with activities and giving online learning a go! When families share a window into their children’s learning from home through Storypark this is the ultimate goal and reward for our teachers!
