Literacy and Numeracy fun

At BestStart Stoddard we have been practicing our numbers and letters. 

While engaging in a memory game, the tamariki had to match two cards together. 

We had open ended conversations on colors, shapes and numbers that were written on the cards. 

Children listened to instructions well, waited for their turn without peeking into the cards. 

This experience helps improve concentration skills where they are able to train their visual memory, increase short term memory as well as increase attention to detail.
