As part of our Building and Constructing project, we are utilizing our local community to support and extend children's interests and knowledge. We walked around our neighbourhood so the children could discover what is around us. The children were excited to find some massive trucks and diggers and a pile of big rocks going down the hills. They have also played with their imaginative ideas as they used natural resources such as sticks and stones to create their own stone formation. 

I wonder what we would discover on our next trip? And what we will be encouraged to create, build and construct?
