What a great day we had on Wednesday celebrating some our children who turned 5 over lockdown! April was our busiest month for birthdays, having 7 children turning 5 and therefore not returning to the Koru room, but starting school! 
We were pleased we had 4 children and their whanau come back for their farewell mat time and we had a special party lunch to celebrate! 
It was so great to see everyone and we were grateful for the gifts brought in including a cake, books and a special letter to the teachers! 
Relationships are very important to us here in the Koru Room and it was very special we were able to take this opportunity to celebrate this very important milestone for our 5 year olds and their whanau!
