Kererū Room – BestStart Ōmokoroa
There is something truly magical about spending time outdoors, especially when our beautiful garden comes alive with the colours of spring!
Today, our Kererū tamariki enjoyed exploring, playing and making wonderful memories beneath our beautiful blossom tree. With delicate pink petals floating through the air and covering the ground, our garden became a place of wonder, curiosity and discovery.
Our two-year-olds were busy collecting fallen petals, watching them dance in the breeze, sharing giggles with their friends and enjoying the simple pleasures that nature brings.
These moments of outdoor exploration provide so many valuable learning opportunities. Through connecting with Papatūānuku, our tamariki are developing their curiosity, sensory awareness, creativity and appreciation for the natural world around them.
Our garden is more than just a place to play. It is an extension of our learning environment, where friendships blossom, imaginations grow and tamariki are encouraged to explore at their own pace.
As kaiako, we treasure these opportunities to slow down, follow the interests of our tamariki and appreciate the beauty of our surroundings.
Just like the blossoms on our tree, our Kererū tamariki are growing, flourishing and blooming in their own beautiful ways.
