Magical Wonders!
Today we had our first BestStart Willowpark Rd Magical Wonders group at Queen Square Park. We loaded up the trolley with tea, coffee, milk, and hot water to give out to people within the community. Once the trolley was packed and the children were ready, we headed off for our walk across the road to the park. The children helped push the trolley to the park and carry our flag. We had some awesome helpers today! Once we got to the park we then went for a play on the playground, some of the tamariki did some running around the playground too! The tamariki took turns on the swings and helped push one another.
Once the children had finished playing on the playground, they were all very thirsty and hungry. We then sat down for a big drink of water under the trees in the shade and had a special treat which was a chocolate biscuit.
We had so much fun at the park today and we look forward to next Wednesday’s Magical Wonders group which will be a teddy bears picnic!
