March at BestStart Faringdon
As usual our nursery family has been super busy and having heaps of fun while we are getting ready to get our winter gear on.
We celebrated the annual Plunket Appeal by dressing up in blue for this special cause. Being blue day, we created some blue teddy bear paintings. The tamariki loved this blue paint activity. Everyone looked amazing and we had to choose prizes for the best dressed boy and girl in the nursery.
We had our first excursion - we walked to our local park where we had heaps of fun playing on the playground and then a well deserved fluffy at the local café, Pedal Pushers. You could see the excitement in their little faces, they loved it!
For Easter we were hard at work creating some felt coloured in Easter eggs and stencil painted bunnies. We did some awesome counting and learning colours at mat time with our Easter egg songs. The tamariki were also sent home with a little Easter gift bag, made up by the kaiako.
