Matariki Celebration at Weymouth
Matariki is a special occasion which marks the start of the Maori New Year. To celebrate this festival, the children were provided with different opportunities, activities and experiences to learn and understand Matariki.
The celebration of the Matariki festival enabled all our tamariki and teachers to come together and learn different stories, cultures, and languages as well. It was a rich learning opportunity for all of us.
