Matariki Celebrations at BestStart Queenstown!
At BestStart Queenstown we celebrated Matariki by gathering together for a celebration. Developing strong relationships with our parents and the community is a very important part of our philosophy and something we love to do. Parents had the opportunity to make new connections with each other and develop new friendships.
We shared some kai we had made for our parents and sang waiata as part of the celebrations. We have been promoting oral language acquisition for our tamariki by reciting poems and teaching storytelling techniques and we shared some of these with our parents too.
A fun night was had by all as we shared this important occasion together.
