Matariki Soup making
Together we prepared our vegetables for our Matariki soup. It was great to have so many of our whanau bring along vegetables and place these in our kai basket for everyone to share.
The children took turns with the peelers and discovered the best way to safely peel the vegetables. It took hand-eye co ordination and patience to do it very carefully and everyone was very successful with their attempts. Great job tamariki!! Once all of the vegetables were ready we transformed them into a beautiful soup for everyone to share at our Matariki Whanau celebration.
