Look at our beautiful Rotopounamu the tamariki have been creating, it's a maunga that has a awesome walking track leading to the ataahua green lake at the top, hence the name.  Tamariki have displayed wonderful qualities and skills of perseverance, patience, turn-taking, collaboration, korero, fun and excitement as this project has evolved and this maunga has been a month long creation in the making.  While we were making Rotopounamu one of the tamariki said "But I want a mountain with fire" and after further inquiry, we determined he wants a mountain spilling lava.  So that will be our next exciting activity centred on the current project plan.
