Meet Jaimee!
Kia Ora, my name is Jaimee English, I am currently a teacher in the nursery here at BestStart Kaiapoi.
I decided I wanted to become an Early Childhood Teacher when I was 19 and began my studies at New Zealand Tertiary College. I spent my first few months in college before deciding to do distance learning. This gave me the opportunity to gain hands on experience while studying which I believe helped me to develop a deeper understanding and knowledge as I was able to link what I was learning to my practice. I spent my first year in the prep room before moving down the nursery where I have been since.
