Meet the wonderful Preschool teachers here at BestStart Dey Street!
We have Eva (Head teacher) who works alongside Alka and Nilu.
Our preschool teachers come with a lot of knowledge and experience. They come from a mixed cultural background so this is brought out within their teaching. These amazing teachers are very passionate about providing the best care for the tamariki and the preschool teachers take the children under their wing to teach and guide them to fly. They are here to empower the children to reach their full potential.
Throughout the day, preschoolers will work in small groups while learning to play together by taking turns and solving problems. Whether they’re playing a game, creating a work of art, or planning a project - you can be confident your preschooler is learning how to work co-operatively, make new friends, manage their emotions, and persevere when the going gets tough.
We have a focus on supporting our tamariki as they prepare for the next step in their learning journey – school! The teachers are always happy to talk about the children’s learning, or just have a conversation. Feel free to pop in and see what the children have been up to.
