Meet the BestStart Opihi Team
At BestStart Opihi we have an amazing and passionate team ready to support your tamariki on their learning journey with us. Photo One: Our Centre Manager Hope completed her training at Te Rito Maioha. Hope is passionate about providing equitable rights for all ākonga. Sharon, our Centre Administrator loves getting to know all of our children and their families, helping to develop their overall sense of belonging. Photo Two: Leading the Preschool is Sophie who has been teaching over 10 years and is passionate about providing quality learning experiences and care for all ākonga. Ness is our Preschool teacher in training. Ness is enthusiastic about her job and loves organising dress up days and special preschool events. Jess has a Bachelor of Teaching and loves to have fun with the children, allowing them to fly without fear, encourages inquiry, risk taking and problem solving skills. Georgia is Primary School trained, bringing with her a creative mindset that provides tamariki with a fun and safe place to learn and grow. Photo Three: Our Nursery Head Teacher is Trish who is passionate about empowering tamariki to view themselves as resilient, confident and capable learners. Tarryn began her journey as a teacher in 2008, bringing with her Montessori experience. Tarryn is passionate about working with our tamariki aged 0-2. Syrita is our Nursery teacher in training.
