Meet the Team at BestStart Te Aroha
Welcome to the team at Beststart Te Aroha. We are very excited to have a team that all live around our local community. Our team know the town and the land we are on very well.
In our team we have Elle who is our CM, Elle has spent a large part of her teaching in Australia and before that travelled the world in the NZ Navy, she has a Bachelor of Teaching.
Trish who is our administration superstar, who has worked for Beststart for many of years now and is like our centre nana, she is just as involved in the classroom as everyone else.
Karen who has a Diploma in Teaching and has worked for Beststart for over 15 years, she has a lot of experience and bases her practice around the playschool method.
Erin has a Bachelor of Teaching and lots of experience, she is fluent in sign lanugage and loves challenge the tamariki's thinking.
Larissa has a Bachelor of Teaching and has a mum to her beautiful daughter, Larissa has a nice soft and maternal approach towards our growing pepi.
Jennah also has a Bachelor of Teaching and is amazing with our growing pepi, Jennah is great with her Te Reo maori and providing challenging activities for our pepi.
Ashleigh and Sharne are our teachers in training and they are the future of our centre, both Sharne and Ashleigh care about respectful practice and providing our tamariki with a loving learning environment.
We are a small team based in a small town under our beautiful maunga Te Aroha. Our small team has a passion for getting out and about in our community as well as giving back to the people around us. Our team pride ourselves on tight-nit, whānau based, community feeling that we provide.
