Meet the Team
At BestStart Buchanans Road we have a wonderful team of kaiako to work in partnership with you to care for your tamariki.
The Māori value of Whanaungatanga is central to what we do here at BestStart Buchanans Road through our practice of respecting and including the knowledge families bring with them to support and empower our tamariki.
We have four rooms at our centre to cater to each age and stage of our tamariki, with experienced teachers in each room who are experts at what they do. From developing strong relationships with the babies in the nursery to foster their sense of belonging, to preparing our tamariki for their journey on to school in our Prep room, our team are with you on your child’s journey every step of the way.
Our team is made up of teachers in training and caregivers supporting alongside our qualified kaiako. A large amount of our team, including our centre manager and centre administrator, have been here at Buchanans Road for a large number of years, offering a lot of experience and stability for your whānau.
