Merry Christmas Everyone!

At BestStart Gillies – we take pride in being home away from home. In celebrating Christmas, we realised how homely our centre is to our Whanau and tamariki. In a magical way we created a festive occasion with a naughty elf being all over the place, a Christmas concert, singing Christmas carols to the lovely sound of our very talented Kaiako’s (David) guitar, and then danced our way to lunch time- where our bodies were nourished with an amazing traditional Christmas lunch prepared by our lovely chef Sam. Finally Santa visited – and if you really look closer- you will see that he was a real Kiwi Christmas father with a yellow shirt! 

This gave our children a sense of love and belonging. The best way to create home away from home, is to be home away from home!
