Montessori Playgroups at The Hub
Our Montessori Playgroup sessions are designed to help parents learn more about Montessori principles and how to create an optimum home environment to assist in their child's natural growth and development. Classes are designed for children ranging in age from new-born to 2.5 years of age.
The activities offered at our programmes are simple, suited for the needs, interests, and capabilities of very young children. The pace is unhurried and the children are provided the opportunity to be occupied with an activity for a period of time, uninterrupted, while the adult is supported and encouraged to take a step back to quietly observe.
From a very early age a child wants to do things for themselves, and our playgroup gives a child the opportunity to grow in independence and confidence, allowing them to explore and make choices in a safe environment.
The BestStart Montessori Playgroup takes place during term time every Thursday between 9:30am and 11:30am at The Hub on Kilbirnie Crescent.
