Mother’s Day is always a very special occasion at Baverstock Oaks, and this year was no exception. Our kaiako planned a range of meaningful and creative craft experiences for the tamariki to express their love and appreciation for their mums and the important role they play within their families.
The children took great pride in creating thoughtful gifts and cards, putting so much effort, creativity, and care into making something special for their mothers.
At Baverstock Oaks, we value the strong partnerships we build with our whānau and recognise the dedication, love, and hard work that mothers give every single day. The nurturing role mums play in supporting their children, guiding their families, and creating loving home environments does not go unnoticed.
Motherhood comes with many responsibilities, and this special day gave us the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate all that our mums do.
To show our appreciation, we hosted a Mother’s Day morning tea for our wonderful mothers and whānau. It was lovely to see families come together to enjoy a relaxed morning filled with conversation, laughter, and connection.
Our mums had the opportunity to spend quality time with one another, check in, and feel celebrated within our centre community.
