What a beautiful, busy, and meaningful day we shared together at BestStart Jones Crescent Kindy.
Our day was filled with love, joy, and special moments as our tamariki created beautiful Mother’s Day cards for their mums.
They also sang “I Love You Mum” and danced their little hearts out during our recording. Their sweet smiles, confidence, and love made every moment so precious. In the evening, we came together for our Quarter 1 Parent Hui.
It was wonderful to connect with our whānau, share our centre priorities, talk about our teaching strategies, and discuss how we can continue working together to support our tamariki to learn, grow, and shine. We also had lots of fun with our quiz and prizes, which helped whānau learn more about the amazing learning that happens at kindy every day.
A big thank you to our special guest from Melville School for sharing school routines and helping our whānau build a deeper understanding of the transition to school. To make the evening even more special, we celebrated Mother’s Day and our lovely kaiako Arshdeep’s birthday.
